State-Of-The-Art Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) located in the area of Hackney, East London is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor (SEMH & ASD). You would be available ASAP, 5 days a week. and will continue into the new year.
The students who attend this PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) have been diagnosed with SEMH and have very challenging behaviour. Supportive PRU with great support staff, SEN Teacher and Senior Leadership Team. Great opportunity for a pro-active, resilient & dedicated SEN TA / Behaviour Mentor / Mentor / LSA/ Learning Mentor OR HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant). It is important that you have SEN experience working with children and young people with behavioural difficulties - CAMHS/ SEMH /ADHD/ ASD). You would be working with children on a 1:1 basis and within small groups. You must be able to build a strong rapport with children and able to engage them well. The pupils who attend are at KS2, KS4 & KS5 levels.
