Maths Teacher or SEN Teacher (PRU)

State-Of-the-Art Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) located in Hackney is recruiting for a MPS or UPS Maths Teacher OR SEN Teacher. This is a full time and long term post to start in September 2022.

New and exciting position for a Full-time & long-term Maths Teacher (MPS or UPS) or SEN Teacher to start in September 2022. The successful Maths Teacher/ Teacher of Maths will be either an NQT or experienced teacher. In order to be considered for this role, it is vital that you have a mainstream or SEN teaching qualification (ie GTP /PGCE/ Cert Ed/ Teach First /SCITT/ QTS). As a MPS or UPS Teacher of Maths / Maths Teacher, you must have good amount of SEN experience (ie SEMH/ ODD/CAMHS/ SEMH/ ASD/ADHD Behaviour etc). You have worked in either a PRU/ mainstream School / Alternative Provision or SEN School.

• Qualified Teacher (Cert Ed/ PGCE/Teach First / QTS/ GTP/ SCITT etc)
• Your SEN experience - (ie / SEMH/ ADHD/ ASD/ CAMHs / ODD/ Behaviour etc)
• Open to ECTs and Experienced Maths Teacher
• You are successfully able to de-escalate behaviour.
• Must have strong subject knowledge & STEM background
• Observed as a minimum of a "Good"
• Must have worked in - PRU/ SEN School /Alternative Provision or Mainstream School with behaviour
• You must be in close commutable distance to Hackney
