Successful Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Greenwich currently is recruiting for a HLTA to start in September 2022.
They cater to children who have been diagnosed with SEMH and Complex Needs, between at KS3 & KS4. The children and young people who attend this Provision have been placed on EHCPs. Staff have exemplary SEN experience in an SEN setting (ie PRU / Alternative Provision / SEN School or a Mainstream School. All new teaching and support staff must have great experience, understanding & knowledge of SEN pupils who are on EHCPs.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, resilient, engaging and dedicated HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to start at a new and exciting role at this Provision. The successful HLTA must have experience working in either Alternative Provision/ PRU/ SEN School/ Mainstream School. Additionally, you must have taught SEN pupils on either a 1:1 basis and within small groups. You have worked as either a HLTA or experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant / Unqualified Teacher / Learning Mentor / Tutor and or LSA. You have experience working with either primary /secondary and or post-16 levels diagnosed with behaviour difficulties (ie SEMH / CAMHS/ SEBD/ ASD / ODD/ ADHD etc).
