Do you have experience as a SEN Teaching assistant, having worked with children with ASD and SEMH? This could be an amazing and rewarding role for you in West Sussex.
Our school is looking for the ideal teaching assistant, with SEN experience, who would be comfortable with supporting students with ASD, SEMH and some challenging behaviours.
You will be trying to create and maintain a positive learning environment, giving students the correctly tailored support and using behaviour management strategies to ensure children are having the maximum involvement in activities and lessons.
This is a wonderful school for students who cannot attend mainstream schools due to their own differing and individual reasons. The school has a gym, a large playground, an arts and crafts room and even canine therapy, which the children love.
The school also provides restraint training for all staff joining.
