The pupil is in year 5 and needs a lot of support due to their ready and writing skills being at a low level. The pupil is very nervous so it's important that the successful candidate is patient and able to build relationships quickly.

You would be supporting in class and making resources to support learning as well as taking the pupil out of class to sensory circuits social skills which the school would provide training on.
The school is a special school who support all children from 5 to 16 who have SEMH as their main need. They admit children from all Lewisham mainstream schools who are referred to them. They will support the child and the family to put in support mechanisms and strategies to help manage behaviour/learning progress.
