Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistants needed for KS3 and KS4 pupils in our local secondary schools in the surrounding area of Sutton. These roles are full time and part time.

Future Education are looking for flexible General Teaching Assistants to be a part of our local schools that we work with, to work flexible, full time, long term, and short term. The role can be a temporary on-going position starting immediately with the potential to become a permanent position for the right applicant.

Are you a passionate and dedicated General Teaching Assistant, that wants to gain more experience? Do you want to gain experience before starting your teacher training?

The role:

• Working with pupils who require support in KS3 and KS4
• You will be assisting the class teacher by helping with 1:1 or small groups
• Offering support and empathy to children requiring assistance
• Have strong behaviour management in the classroom
• Develop great relationships with both the children and staff members

The successful applicant requires:

• Up to date training in Safeguarding
• Clear and current enhanced DBS on the update service
• Good Behaviour management in a classroom
• The ability to interact with pupils to impact on teaching and learning.
• Exceptional communication skills, energy and a positive 'hands on' attitude
