Creative, Innovative and Forward Thinking coeducational Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the borough of Greenwich. Currently they are recruiting for a long term and full-time (MPS or UPS) Computer Science Teacher / ICT Teacher / Teacher of ICT to start immediately! 

New Head teacher who is well respected, focused and determined to ensuring an all inclusive educational environment. The Head undeniably has excellent leadership and managerial capabilities. In addition to this, the Head has an exemplary, supportive and dedicated Senior Leadership Team. They all possess great experience and expertise. This Pupil Referral Unit is on two sites and presently they are recruiting for the ASD site.  Students at this Greenwich Pupil Referral Unit feel safe and enjoy their time at this school. They respond well to fun, creative and engaging lessons.  All teachers who work at this PRU have been graded between a “Good” or “Outstanding”.  ALL new teachers must have been graded a minimum of a “Good”. 

Due to an increased student role within the ASD site, they are recruiting for a well qualified  teacher (PGCE/ GTP/SCITT/Teach First/ Cert Ed/ QTS)  Computer Science Teacher / ICT Teacher / Teacher of ICT  (MPS or UPS) for an ongoing long term position.  You must be available to start at this PRU immediately.  The successful Computer Science Teacher /Teacher of Computer Science / ICT Teacher / Teacher of ICT (MPS or UPS).  You are the type of practitioner who is firm but fair and able to demonstrate Good to Outstanding practices and lessons. It is imperative that you can teach a minimum of KS3 & KS4 Computer Science (KS5 desirable). Exceptional NQT program and CPD and career opportunities.  Also you must have experience working in either a Pupil Referral Unit (PUR) / Alternative Provision / SEN School  OR Mainstream School  with SEN / ASD/ SEMH/ ADHD / Challenging Behaviour students. 

  • Must be a well-qualified Computer Science Teacher / ICT Teacher / teacher of ICT  (ie QTS, GTP, PGCE, ITT / SCITT/ Teach First / Cert Ed. etc)
  • You must have either PRU / Alternative Provision / SEN School or mainstream school teaching experience as a Computer Science/ ICT Teacher with SEN students.
  • You must be able to teach a minimum of KS3 & KS4 Computer Science (KS5 Desirable)
  • You have been graded a Good to Outstanding teacher
  • Focused on safeguarding uping people and children
  • Must have an in date enhanced DBS
  • In easily commutable distance to the borough of Greenwich
  • Available Immediately
