Highly Specialised Speech and Language Therapist Band 7
Salary: Therapy Band 7 Scale 15 – 18, £39,881 to £43,737 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance.
Working Pattern: Full-time 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday all year round, or possibility to work term time only
Location: This role will require you to work mainly at Hillingdon but may also require to cover other sites
Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist?
Do you want to work as part of an dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Music/Arts Therapists)/
Your role will be to support our students/pupils in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as instructing and supporting teaching staff in delivering therapy programmes/groups and use of specialised equipment. You will also deliver training to other staff.
This is a Special College based in Hillingdon which provides a non-residential, stimulating learning environment for students across a wide range of diagnoses including moderate/ severe/ and profound learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, mental health and additional diagnoses.
This is a newly built College with an Outstanding Ofsted rating, their friendly and successful Therapy team works in partnership with lecturers/teachers and support staff in other further education provisions and their other sites. This particular role will be based in our centre in Hillingdon.
