Future Education are working with a GOOD Primary School in Kingston who are looking to appoint an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant to join them after Easter.
You will be supporting a child within KS1 who has recently had a diagnosis for Autism. You will be working with the child both inside the classroom and around the school. In particular, the child needs some additional support with English, so someone with a strong knowledge of the English curriculum is preferred.
The school are based within the London Borough of Kingston. There are good transport links and a staff car park available on site.
This position is available to start after the Easter break, on Monday 20th April. You will remain with the school for the summer term, until July 2020. There is potential for this position to be extended into the following academic year, where you will move with the child into the year above.
Salary will be between £70 and £90 per day, depending on your experience.
You will be an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant. You will ideally have experience of working with children who have Autism. Consistency will be very important for this child, so you will be available and willing to commit to this role on a full time basis, for the duration of the summer term.
