Newly established dynamic and innovative Alternative Provision predominantly catering to pupils who have been taken out of mainstream education. Inspiring Principle who is a true visionary. The Senior Leadership is strong and has embraced the principal’s vision for the provision. Exemplary and dedicated Teachers and Support Staff who are effective and are excellent practitioners. Any new staff must be proactive, dedicated, able to build a rapport with children and young people and have experience doing so on a 1:1 basis and within small groups. Children who attend are at KS3 & 4 levels.
Exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Learning Mentor / Behaviour Mentor/ LSA/ Teaching Assistant / HLTA / Support Worker / Youth Worker, who is available immediately for a long term position. You would be working with children and young people and engaging them so that they work effectively in their studies. Additionally you would be working with students on a 1:1 basis and groups. This post will suit a Learning Mentor / LSA/ SEN TA/ HLTA/ Behaviour Mentor / Youth Worker / who is empathetic, consistent, proactive, calm and committed to safeguarding children and young people. You must have obtained this experience in either a SEN or Mainstream setting:
