We are currently working with a secondary SEN school that are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants.
This is a full-time permanent role and is to start ASAP.
Salary - £17,075 - £18,339 (FTE £20466 - £21981)
This Secondary School is a vibrant, diverse, Special School for children with a primary need of Speech, Language and Communication or with a diagnosis on the Autistic Spectrum. Many of our students have associated learning difficulties including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and often present with high levels of anxiety.
As a Learning Support Assistant you will be responsible for supporting aspects of teaching and learning in school, with appropriate intervention work.
Ideally in the role of Learning Support Assistant you should have experience working with children who have SEN. However, applications will be considered from candidates without such experience who demonstrate an eagerness to rapidly develop new skills in this area.
The successful candidates will be self-motivated, with a genuine desire and commitment to help children and young people to fulfil their potential.
