Are you a qualified Maths Teacher, looking for a new teaching position with extra responsibilities in a pupil referral unit? If so, then look no further as this role is ideal for you!


A Pupil Referral Unit based in Wandsworth are currently recruiting for a Maths subject lead teacher, to teach at GCSE level. You will be teaching students with emotional behavioural difficulties and will have teaching assistants who are trained in team teach to support you. Your role will also include leading a whole team of staff committed to raising the achievement of all pupils in their Maths GCSEs. This is a permanent role to start in September and is full-time.


The salary is equal to the main pay scale plus SEN points and TLR.


This is a lively and modern all boys school with both primary and secondary aged children, with ages of the students ranging from 5 to 19. The facilities at the school are good and there is a large equipped sports hall, as well as a smaller gym for the learners to use. The school has a range of specialist classrooms including craft design, food technology and music to name just a few.


To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • A proven record of teaching Maths
  • Ability to prepare and teach effective lessons, considering the individual needs of the students
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Ability to lead a team of staff
