Modern Foreign Languages Teacher

Temporary Contract - Maternity Cover: required early May 2021 to end of March 2022

Salary: £140 - £180 per day

We are currently working with an ‘Outstanding’ SEN School based in Bromley who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated MFL teacher to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post holder. This a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to our highly successful Teaching team.

We are seeking a colleague who has a passion for teaching languages, Spanish and/or French ideally who has the creativity and character to encourage and develop the language skills of students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and with a range of additional needs. Any candidate applying must be well-organised, self-driven, team orientated and reflective. The post is five days per week.

The school has a rich tradition of achieving successful outcomes for our students and the school was rated once again ‘Outstanding’ at our last Ofsted inspection in December 2019.

The school caters for students aged 11-19. The students have Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCP) with many diverse needs.

One of their main aims is to help the students to achieve and succeed in dealing effectively with any obstacles to learning. The other important priority, of the school is to give to the young people the skills they require to lead as independent a life as possible once they have left.

There are a number of students on the Autistic spectrum. Other needs include specific learning problems, Emotional/ Behavioural and Speech/Language and communication difficulties.

The school can offer you:

  • The opportunity to help lead an outstanding school into the next phase of its development;
  • An outstanding school with good established practices, a sound financial position and good buildings and site;
  • Students who enjoy school and thrive on their broad-based curriculum and wide range of activities;
  • A stable and committed staff team determined to give our students the best possible opportunities;
  • Excellent ongoing professional development and training;
  • A supportive and committed board of trustees.

If you are the person to take up the challenge, and to help lead their exceptional school into the next phase of its development, we would like to hear from you so please apply with your most up to date CV.

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the school or the role, please contact Jamie Robinson at Future Education
