A school are looking for a Newly Qualified Teacher of Science (NQT) to join their strong and supportive department from September 2018. The department is well-resourced and students achieve highly.


A successful candidate will be a Science NQT with great in-depth subject knowledge and the passion, commitment and dedication to demonstrate constant outstanding teaching and learning skills to help these students reach their individual academic potential. You will be teaching Science across Key Stages 3&4 with the opportunity of A-Level in your subject specialism (Chemistry, Biology or Physics).


 It’s an opportunity to have a great structured continuous professional development programme and the right training and support programme in your NQT year. As  an NQT It will also give you a great kick-start to your teaching career and becoming an outstanding Science Subject Specialist. The school is situated in Wandsworth, an affluent inner London area, meaning you will be teaching some of the brightest students in London and receive an Inner-London Salary which starts at a minimum of £28,660, there is also an attendance bonus available within this role.

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
  • A valid enhanced DBS
  • Outstanding references
