The Science Department consists of 9 permanent members of staff and 2 Science Technicians who strive to focus on offering the most balanced and broad education to students which enhances the learning experience. This can be proven in the school’s academic results where 95% of students achieve A*-C at GCSE Level and 93% of A-Level students go to a Russell Group University. The Science Department have state of the art facilities as they have a new science block that was opened in September 2016.
All applicants must have:
· UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
· The ability to teach Key Stage 3&4 Science
· A valid enhanced DBS
· Outstanding references
