SEN KS1 Teacher

  • Special Educational Needs - Temporary Post
  •  Location - Sutton
  •  Salary - £140 - £180
  •  Date Posted - 24/07/2020

We are working with a lovely little primary school based in Sutton who are looking for SEN Teacher to start in September.

They are looking for a KS1 teacher for their ASD base. They are looking for a qualified teacher- ideally someone with some SEN experience of teaching children with ASD. But if you are a mainstream KS1 Teacher that has the enthusiasm to work with SEN children then you will also be considered.

The class are all children in year 1 and year 2 with a diagnosis of ASD and an EHCP. There are 9 children in the class and 2 full time TAs and a part time one. The children are on the milder end of the spectrum and all benefit from working within a mainstream school. The TAs are experienced and will be a great support. Because they are a small school they can offer lots of support to the teacher and they will also be working alongside the mainstream KS1 team that can help with planning.

The school are looking to interview people in the next week so if you are interested please apply ASAP.

If you would like to know more information about the role please do not hesitate to contact Jamie Robinson at Future Education.
