A Special Needs School in Sutton are looking for a Maths Teacher to teach at GCSE level. You will be teaching students who are autistic and will have learning support assistants to support you. This is a permanent full-time role to start in January 2020.
You will be teaching in a lively and modern independent School with both Primary and Secondary aged children, with ages of the students ranging from 5 to 16. The facilities at the school are great with a large equipped sports hall, as well as a smaller gym for the learners to use. The school has a range of specialist classrooms including craft design, food technology and music to name just a few.
In the Schools’ latest Ofsted report in 2018, the School received a ‘good’ grade with outstanding features and stated that the students made good progress during their time at the school. The students particularly progressed in English and Maths and the proportion of students achieving GCSE passes is now increasing.
