Future Education is working with a great SEN School located in the borough of Greenwich. Currently they are recruiting for a long term SEN TA to commence in April 2019.


Located in the heart of the community, this is a great School  that has been rated positively by Ofsted.  This special school has formed great relationships with parents, guardians and external parties.  They are a dedicated Special School that specialise in complex needs and PMLD.  Staff have great SEN experience and expertise within their chosen specialism.  Staff and students alike form positive and fun relationships with great humour! Additionally they are encouraging and upbeat whilst interacting with students and peers.  Warm, accommodating and friendly atmosphere where everyone gets involved.  Excellent training is provided at this school if and when required for their staff for continued development.  The school offers a wide range of various activities to engage students successfully in their classes.


Immediate full time cover is required for an SEN TA who has experience with SEN And PMLD.  You will be working with the class teacher by providing support to your students with behaviour or physical difficulties.  Additionally in this post you will either be working with your student on a 1-2-1 basis or within small groups.  You would not be the only SEN TA in the class so would be working closely with your colleagues for successful outcomes.   As an SEN TA you will also be required to escalate behavioural issues within your class, so it is imperative that you are a calm individual who is resilient. 


The successful SEN TA will be able to pass the below criteria;


  • Must have an in date enhanced DBS currently with the update service
  • Team Teach or Behaviour Intervention training would be desirable (however training can be offered)
  • You are either an SEN TA already or have some experience working people with behavioural or special needs or PMLD or Complex needs
  • Able to build a strong rapport with students
  • Resilient, firm but fair SEN TA
  • You will have great work ethics, with a positive attitude
