We are currently looking for a resilient, pro-active, calm and patient individual who essentially would like to progress in their career as an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

 

  • Are you looking for a vibrant SEN School in the borough of Hillingdon as an SEN Teaching Assistant?

 

  • Do you have experience with children or young people as either a youth worker/ support worker or already an SEN TA?

 

  • Have you had experience with young people with either;

 

  •  ie Challenging Behaviour / SEMH/Asperger’s/ Autism/ Learning Difficulties

We at Future Education are currently hiring enthusiastic, consistent, energetic, resilient & calm SEN TAs available to start a new post in an SEN school in Hillingdon.   You are the type of SEN Teaching Assistant who can build a strong rapport with young people and children. You will also have experience working with pupils on both a 1:1 and in small groups. 

 

To be successfully short listed, we are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with varying conditions, ie SEMH/ ASD/ Challenging behaviour. You must be resilient and not take direct challenging behaviour personally. You will be able to engage and build a strong rapport with your pupils.

 

These SEN Teaching Assistant positions have been made available due to expansion of the school!

 

We are looking for someone who is available immediately for short term, temporary or long term contract roles. For the right SEN TA who has proved themselves in this school, there could` be a permanent post but would initially start off temporary. 

 

  • Must have worked with children or young people with either SEMH / Autism / ASD / Challenging Behaviour
  • Resilient, determined, calm and patient
  • Experience working with a student in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • You can cope well under pressure
  • Ability to support teachers & individual special needs students with day to day learning and development
  • Able to build a strong rapport with students
  • You are safety conscious at all times & able to adjust to potential hazards
