SEN Teacher

Future Education has been asked by a client school in Bromley to assist in finding them a SEN Teacher to start with them in September to work within their SEN centre

This role is part time 3 days a week. The days you will be expected to work are Monday to Wednesday.

This role is initially to Christmas but is likely to be extended for the full year.

Salary to be confirmed depending on experience.

The school is a mainstream school with an attached SEN centre. The students in the centre have Complex and/Specific Learning needs including Autism.

You will need to be: - SEN Teacher

  • Fully qualified primary Teacher with QTS.
  • Knowledge of using Makaton
  • Experienced in Teaching Primary SEN students.
  • Able to teach KS1 curriculums, with individual teaching plans based on students IEP.
  • Energetic, bubbly and imaginative lesson planning

There is lots of support within this school and within the SEN department there are a number of assistants and SEN support staff who all work close together to achieve the schools ethos. The schools most recent OFSTED report graded them as a “Good” school back in Febuary 2018, something the school is very proud on but looking to build up to a “Excellent” grade.
