Are you an SEN experienced teacher who is passionate about the education of SEN students? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

 

Our School in the Richmond area have asked us to assist them in bringing the perfect candidate forward for their full-time, permanent teaching role to start in September 2019.

 

You will be teaching students who have severe or profound multiple learning difficulties, ASD, challenging behaviour and complex health needs. The School are flexible with regards to the key stage that you will be teaching.

 

The salary for this role is equal to the main pay scale plus SEN points.

 

This is an amazing School with very friendly staff and an extremely approachable management team. The facilities at the School are second to none, with a beautiful spacious playground for the learners to enjoy. The pupils all have an individual learning programme that details what and how they are learning. This includes an input from a variety of different departments including Speech and Language, Occupational, Physio and Music Therapy.

 

In the School’s latest Ofsted report in 2018, the School received a 'good’ grade with 'outstanding’ features and stated that the students make good progress in speaking and listening, as well as reading and writing.

 

The ideal candidate will have additional training in Makaton, PECS or TEACHH although not essential!

 

To work in this School, they will require the following:

 

1) QTS or NQT

 

2) Relevant SEN experience either within a SEN School or within mainstream

 

3) Be able to travel to Richmond and commit to the School’s requirements

 

4) Proven experience of teaching students with SEN
