Creative, Independent Learning and innovative Alternative Provision located in the borough of Greenwich is currently recruiting for an ASD Teaching Assistant.  This full-time & long-term position is to start immediately!

 They offer a unique curriculum from KS3 – KS4 and post-16 transition. Senior Leadership Team and Middle managers at this provision are exemplary in their leadership capabilities & skillset.   Dedicated and supportive support staff with SEN Teachers who believe that every child does matter and aim to make a difference in each of their lives.  The learners who attend this provision range from ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Behaviour Difficulties, SEN.

1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant/ Learning Mentor/ Youth Worker/ SEN TA / TA/ LSA is required for this provision for an immediate, ongoing & full-time position.  The learner requires assistance in their various classes and someone who is empathetic, resilient and someone who can build a strong rapport with them.  You must have experience of working in either an ASD Teaching Assistant/ Youth Worker/ Learning Mentor/ SEN TA / TA/ LSA post on a 1:1 basis.  It is imperative that you are focused on safeguarding your learners.  Additionally, you must have worked in either an SEN School / PRU / Alternative Provision / mainstream Secondary School in a support post.

  • Experience working in a child 1:1 support staff post; ie Youth Worker / Learning Mentor / SEN TA / Teaching Assistant / HLTA / LSA post
  • Must have worked with pupils in an educational setting, ie SEN School / Provision / PRU, Mainstream School
  • Dedicated on safeguarding children and young people
  • You must have worked with a range of SEN such as; ADHD/ ASD/ SEMH/ Learning Difficulties/ Behaviour Difficulties
  • Either have an in-date DBS with the update service OR if not able to process a new one ASAP
