Are you an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant, having worked with children that have ASD/PMLD/SLD and Complex Needs? If so, this role could be for you!

Our client school based in Twickenham are looking for teaching assistants to assist in a variety of different classes from KS1-KS3.

You will be working with students that have a range of special needs.

This is an amazing little school with very friendly staff and an extremely approachable management team. The facilities at the school are second to none, with a beautiful spacious playground for the learners to enjoy. The pupils all have an individual learning programme that details what and how they are learning. This includes an input from a variety of different departments including Speech and Language, Occupational, Physio and Music Therapy.

In the Schools’ latest Ofsted report this year, the school received a ‘good’ grade with ‘outstanding’ features and stated that the students make good progress in speaking and listening, as well as reading and writing.

What we need from you:

• Experience and desire to work within SEN

• Passion to make a difference every day

• Have effective methods of communication as some students are non-verbal

• Registered DBS or be prepared to carry out a new DBS application
