Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Band 6

Salary: Therapy Band 6 Scale 7-14, £29,762 to £38,767 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance

Hours: Full-time 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, all year round. There may be a possibility to work Term Time Only.

Location: Predominantly based in New Malden and Carshalton, however you must be willing to travel across sites (e.g. for meetings, supervision, and cover staff sickness) as service needs require.

Future Education are looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Music Therapists). You will support the learners in achieving all aspects of the curriculum, as well as communicating with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies.

You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to merge therapy and learning objectives, as well as educating and supporting teaching staff in delivering therapy programmes and use of specialised equipment. You will also deliver training to other staff.

This Trust provides a non-residential, stimulating learning environment for students across a wide range of diagnoses including moderate/ severe/ and profound learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, mental health and additional diagnoses.
