Job Title: Admissions Officer

Location: London Borough of Greenwich

Job Type: Monday to Friday post (temp to perm)

Daily Rate: £100 - £120 a day

Outstanding Post-16 College located in the London Borough of Greenwich is recruiting a temp to perm Admissions Officer who can work Monday to Friday and start straight away.

With experience working in either a College or School  and able to administrate admissions, parents evenings, and liaise with prospective students and their parents, experience using a school/ college system, you will be an all rounder.

The Admissions Officer will play a vital role in the recruitment and admission of prospective students to their college. The successful Admissions Officer will have excellent administrative skills and will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the process are managed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the admissions process for prospective students
  • Liaise with parents and guardians during parents' evening and open days
  • Ensure that all applications are processed promptly and efficiently
  • Provide advice and guidance to prospective students and their families
  • Coordinate interviews and assessments for prospective students
  • Maintain accurate records of all applications and admissions
  • Liaise with the college system to ensure that all student records are up to date
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with feeder schools and other relevant stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with changes to the curriculum and courses offered by the college
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials to promote the college to prospective students and their families.

 Requirements:

  • Either a degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working in either a college or school and admissions
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of college systems and courses
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Enhanced DBS or able to pay for new one ASAP
  • Must live in easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Greenwich
