Alternative Provision located in the London Borough of Bromley is recruiting for either a 1:1 Behaviour Support or Youth Worker to work in a support position to start in September 2023.

**5 Days a week - 08:30 - 16:00 Fixed Term Contract

**Daily Rate £80 - £115 a day

Due to increased student role at this Alternative Provision, they would like to recruit either a Youth Worker or Behaviour Support to work in a support role. You will be working with children who have been diagnosed with either SEMH/ ADHD / ASD / Complex Needs and/ or Behaviour Difficulties. Essentially you will be supporting the child(ren) in helping them to become the best versions of themselves. The successful 1:1 Behaviour Support or Youth Worker may have also worked as either a LSA/ SEN TA/ HLTA/ Learning Mentor / Child Support Worker/ SEN Support Worker /Child Residential Worker and/ or a parent or someone who is looking after a child(ren) with some form of SEN.

• Available to start work in September 2023
• Experience working with children with varied SEN; ie SEMH/ ASD/ ADHD/ ODD/ADD/ CAMHS/ Complex Needs
• You must have worked as either;1:1 Behaviour Support/ Behaviour Mentor/ Youth Worker / SEN TA/ Teaching Assistant/ Learning Mentor/ HLTA/ Child Residential Worker/ Parent with a child with Special Needs/ SEN Support Worker or Child Support Worker
• 1:1 and small group support experience
• Able to build a strong rapport with children and if necessary can de-escalate behaviour successfully
• Preferably worked in either an Alternative provision/ Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)/ SEN Provision / Youth Centre/ SEN School / Home with Children with SEN
• Enhanced DBS on the update service OR able to pay for a new DBS immediately
• You live in close proximity to the London Borough of Bromley
