*Monday to Friday
*Daily Rate: £80 - £90 a day
*1:1 and Small Group Experience

This fantastic SEN Provision offers inclusive education to children and young people who have been diagnosed with diverse needs, including behaviour SEN (ie MLD, Autism)at Secondary Level.

Recruiting a talented, pro-active, resilient and empathetic 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to join an already successful team of Behaviour support staff. You would be supporting on a 1:1 and small group basis and in charge of supporting and de-regulating students with challenging behaviours. You must be calm but fair, able to safely de-escalate behaviour challenges and ensure the student gets back on track within the classroom.

The successful 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant

• Worked in a Behaviour support position with children and young people with behaviour difficulties OR has their children OR family members with Behavioural SEN
• Can successfully de-escalate behaviour effectively and calmly
• Excellent SEN experience, ie ODD/ ADD/ SEMH/ MLD/ CAMHS/ ADHD/ ASD/ Complex Needs/ Behaviour Difficulties
• Can commit to an immediate 5 day a week post
• Excellent sense of humour and able to build a strong rapport with children
• Have supported on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Have supported children within their classes and work
• Enhanced Child & Adult or Child DBS on the update service OR able to pay for a new one immediately
• In easy commutable distance to Orpington
