Currently we are working with a couple of SEN Schools located in the borough of Lewisham.

 

Due to the demand for Behaviour Support LSAs / TAs (SEN or SEMH experience) for short term and long term vacancies at these SEN Schools we are currently recruiting for exceptional Behaviour LSAs / TAs, who are available immediately to start new positions. These schools would be working with pupils who show challenging and difficult behaviour. Our schools provide quality education with a varied Curriculum

 

You will already have experience as a Behaviour Support LSA / Teaching Assistant who has experience working in either an SEN School or PRU /Alternative Provision. Due to a lot of these roles arising at short notice, it is imperative that you reside close to Lewisham by car or public transport.

 

You will be a consistent and resilient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant who has worked with difficult behaviour; i.e. Emotional Behaviour Disorder (EBD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Social, Emotional and Behaviour Disorder (SEBD), etc. Future Education are looking for outstanding practitioners who are available to commence work after the Easter break and available immediately to register with the agency immediately. Our positions are usually for full time roles & would beneficial to know you are available on a full time basis as opposed to part time.

 

To be shot listed to work with our Special Schools we are looking for the following;

 

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar post
  • Experience as a Behaviour Support LSA or SEN Teaching Assistant
  • You have experience working with either SEMH or SEN
  • Confident supporting a small group of students with difficult behaviour ie SMEH or SEN or EBD
  • Team Teach Qualification or Behaviour Qualification Required
  • Able to build a strong rapport with your students
  • Calm, patient and focused on helping students who have SEN
