If the answer to the above is YES, you could be just the person for this role!
Alternative Provision on the Bexley borders is at present recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full time and immediate start.
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced SEN TA / Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor or already a HLTA who has had experience teaching on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. The successful HLTA / Learning Mentor/ SEN TA / Teaching Assistant must be able to demonstrate on their CV that they have worked with SEN pupils with challenging behaviour, i.e. ASD / SEMH/ SEBD / ADHD etc. Due to the type of pupils at this Alternative Provision the successful candidate must have adequate qualifications to teach pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
The role would be predominantly teaching Religious Studies and two GCSE classes of Art. Your SEN experience will be with KS3 & KS4 pupils. Supportive staff and Senior Leadership Team. Good to Outstanding practitioners and effectively a great place to work. Additionally they offer excellent CPD and training.
