Successful SEN School, located in the Bromley borough is recruiting for a temp to perm SEN Teacher (Complex Needs). Immediate start!

This SEN school in the borough of Bromley have children who attend with a wide range of SEN. They range from motor, physical, Aspergers, learning difficulties, wheel chair users, children fed through straws and more able children who are able to access their learning. It is imperative that all new SEN Teachers are good to outstanding practitioners and have experience working with similar SEN. State of the art facilities and a fantastic opportunity. Staff are very welcoming!The school is on 3 sites in Orpington/ Beckenham and West Wickham and you would be working on one of the sites. Additionally there are over 300 pupils in all the sites combined.

Due to promotion, this SEN School is recruiting for a MPS or UPS SEN Teacher (complex needs) who has great experience working with similar children.  It is essential that you have a UK recognised teaching qualification (ie PGCE/ GTP/ SCITT / Cert Ed /Teach First / QTS) to be considered for this SEN Teacher position.   In this role, you must have experience of working in an SEN School as a SEN classroom teacher (complex needs), where you have provided high quality and able to differentiate between the needs of your pupils in various activities so they are able to reach their full potential in learning. This is a temp to perm post so you must be available immediately with an enhanced DBS with the update service

  • Must be a well-qualified SEN Teacher ( iePGCE/ GTP/ SCITT / Cert Ed /Teach First / QTS)
  • Must have worked in an SEN School with varied needs, ie from complex needs, motor, physical, Aspergers, learning difficulties, wheel chair users, children fed through straws and more able children who are able to access their learning.
  • Focused on safeguarding of children
  • Able to plan and deliver lessons and activities according to the UK curriculum & guidelines
  • Experience with SEN children at primary or secondary levels in an SEN School
  • In date DBS with the update service
  • Must be in easily commutable distance to either Orpington / Beckenham OR West Wickham
