Future Education are looking for an EYFS Special Educational Needs Teacher for a school based in Croydon.

The school is for children aged between 4 and 11 years of age, with children on the Autistic Spectrum (ASD), Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This does include personal care and feeding the children.

The classroom sizes are small with around 10 pupils, 3 support staff and a Teacher. If you haven’t previously taught in an SEN school but are a mainstream teacher considering a career change, this school can offer the guidance and support that is needed throughout the transition. Applications from NQTs are also welcome.

This is a long term post to start in January 2020. If the rest of the year is a success then there will be a permanent contract for September 2020.

Pay rate - £140 - £160 per day

If you have the following then this school could be perfect for you: -

1)      Experience teaching children with ASD, PMLD and SLD.

2)      Experience Teaching Early Years

3)      Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

4)      Be able to prepare and teach effective lessons, taking into account the individual needs of the students.
