We are looking for a Class Teacher with experience of working with ASD students to join us in April 2019 (1 year Maternity cover)
We are working with fantastic SEN school in Lewisham who are currently recruiting a Class Teacher for their Secondary department. This is an exciting time to join the school. They offer a great place to work. They have an exciting curriculum, a great staff team and provide lots of support, guidance, friendship and fun for all our staff. This is a state of the art special school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) from 4 to 19. This school is more than a school, it is a hub for (ASD) support for Lewisham. It takes a leading role in the provision of outreach support for children (and their families) in mainstream schools and Early Years Centres.
The role is full time – Salary £140 - £170 per day
This teaching post is to work in the purpose-built school with its ground breaking facilities. They are continually striving to develop their work with pupils, parents and carers, the local community and the schools they provide specialist support though their Outreach team and the training they offer. The school is committed to being a Centre of Excellence.
